Today we completed the Mineral Identification Lab. Students were given a worksheet to complete for homework if not completed in class. The worksheet can be found below. The Test over natural resources and minerals will be Wednesday. the children should review their notes and the power points found in this blog.
The videos below are a review on minerals and a video that lists some minerals that you may want to do a report on starting next week.
Today the children worked on how to find the density of an object. This is one of the ways to identify a mineral. The children also were assigned the performance task #5.

We worked on our performance tasks. The children must do one from each section. They are to be completed by Tuesday. the computers in the classroom were not working (slow internet) so I am going to drop the 4 brainpops that were due today. They children that completed them will be able to use the points to help boost their grade if it is needed.
